Designed for: Team leaders, supervisors and managers of people or team members to enhance their team input.
 
Aims: To highlight the qualities and characteristics of effective teams, reduce barriers to teamwork and improve communications. To develop the problem-solving capabilities of the team.
 
Objectives: At the end of the course, delegates will be
able to:

  • Describe 4 key stages in team development
  • Explain what is meant by team working
  • Recognise personality styles and behaviours found in teams
  • Illustrate the roles required for a team to be successful
  • Highlight areas to improve team communications
  • Identify opportunities to improve teamwork
  • Describe tools and techniques that can be implemented to help the team achieve their goals and maintain high standards.
